Prestigious and elegant Villa located on a hillside close to the small, picturesque town Pylos enjoys full privacy next to a pure natural area of unique beauty since the plot of 5845.45 m² is surrounded by forestry protected land. The Villa was constructed in 2008 measuring 612.50 m² in three levels and it was fully renovated in 2019-2020.
The middle floor, which is the main house, consists of 2 spacious living rooms connected via a super modern and minimal kitchen, 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and 1 guests’ bathroom. The living rooms lead to the spacious verandas which are finely furnished (heavy wooden dining tables and chairs) and enjoy magnificent sea and sunset views.
Two internal staircases lead to the lower level which consists of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a private gym, a stuff room, a laundry room, a wc and a storage. On the lower level there are also 2 independent apartments which consist of 2 bedrooms sharing one bathroom and can be used as guest houses.
The two internal staircases also lead to the higher level (2 towers). Each tower accommodates an open sky bedroom with toilet and shower. The design of the glass towers is unique as here could somebody feel like sleeping under the stars.
The Master Suite is located next to the villa and enjoys full privacy. The Master Suite consists of a bedroom, bathroom and closet room, it is surrounded by glass windows and it enjoys magnificent views to the Ionian Sea and the sunset.
Characteristic of the villa is the exterior which enjoys unique views to the sea, the sunset, the picturesque town of Pylos and Sfakteria island. The veranda is huge and apart from the swimming pool there is also a pool bar – kitchen under a pergola with bamboo, dining area and an in-ground lounge. In each side of the veranda are stairs leading to the external toilets/ showers. Apart from the huge veranda there is a mini golf course, a petanque court, a yoga area and a vegetables’ garden. There is plenty of space which can be used as parking area.
The villa is equipped with cameras security system and remote-control entrance gate.
Villa Pylos is a unique venue for a wedding ceremony and reception or any other special celebrations. The setting of the villa is very private with extensive landscaped gardens and ample space for parking. The views of the Ionian Sea and the sunset are breathtaking and will enhance photos taken of any special occasion. There is ample space to set up tables and chairs for dining and plenty of space for dancing at the deck around the swimming pool. The covered pergola with the exterior bar is also suitable to host cocktail receptions.
The charming beach of the town Pylos is only 5 minutes (3km) drive away. Pylos is a busy small town with port and extensive marina. It has a good range of shops, restaurants, cafes and banks built around a lovely central square, shaded by ancient plane trees. It also boasts an impressive castle. There are doctors and a small hospital/health center with good facilities and reliable staff who provide prompt emergency service.
Gialova village, 8 minutes’ drive away, has high quality beach-side restaurants, some housed in old stone warehouses, coffee shops, bars, stores, supermarkets and three filling stations/garages.
Methoni, 15 minutes by car, is an old trading port, with Venetian links, evidence of which abounds in its beautiful castle beneath which lie a beach and a sheltered harbor. Methoni has a doctors’ surgery, dentist, pharmacy, good local shopping, supermarkets, bank, post office and very good restaurants.
Finikounda, 20 minutes by car, has four long sandy beaches. The village itself has a very pretty harbour for traditional fishing boats and recreational boats while a smaller village sandy beach is served by traditionally Greek cafes and restaurants.
The nearest signature golf course is 5 minutes away while the next golf course is 15 minutes away.
It takes 50 minutes to drive to the international airport and the hospital of Kalamata which is the administrative capital of the area. Kalamata has a port, large yachting marina and motorway access to ATHENS. The center of town has been the subject of major regeneration during the past few years and offers a wide range of shopping, eating and relaxing opportunities along its main boulevard. There is a greater variety of shops here offering designer goods and some internationally known stores.
